Miroslav Radman (2006), World's leading scientific magazine Nature published a new discovery by academician Miroslav Radman and his associates. It relates to a mechanism of DNA repair in Deinococcus radiodurans bacteria. The discovery is interesting because of many potential areas of application, as the process could be used for, among others, developing new drugs.

    10th ANNUAL VIDI AWARD CEREMONY

    Zagreb - on December 15th 2008 in Regent Esplanade hotel, ICT monthly magazine VIDI held it’s 10th annual awards ceremony. For 10 years one of the leading ICT magazines in Croatia is awarding the best web pages in Croatia (VIDI Web Top 100), the best high tech innovations (VIDI e-novation), the Prime ministers web award, and for the first time the Croatian national award for best ICT implementation by a non-ICT company (VIDI ICT gold).

    DELEGATION OF THE SHANGHAI FEDERATION INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE IN OFFICIAL VISIT TO CROATIA

    On the 1st December Delegation of the Shanghai Federation of Industry & Commerce leaded by the Vice president Mr. Jin Liang visited Croatia. In their mini European tour beside Croatia, they will visit Bulgaria and Romania. Among many other meetings Trade and Investment Promotion Agency helped in organizing a visit to the Varaždin Free zone.
